How to Add New Products to Your Ecommerce Dashboard?

Step 1: Login to your Commmerce’s Admin Panel by entering the Registered mail ID and Password. To login Click here

STEP 2: Once you complete creating your category, look for the "Products" section under the "Catalog" in the dashboard.

STEP 3: There is an option to add a new product. Click on "Add Product."

Product Information

Fill in the details for your new product. This typically includes:
  • Product Name: A clear and descriptive name for your product.
  • Categories: Assign the product to relevant categories for easy organization. [Click here to learn how to create a category]
  • Product Description: A detailed description of the product.

Product Images: Upload high-quality images of your product. This is crucial for showcasing your product to customers.

Product Video (Standard Plan): Upload high-quality images of your product. This is crucial for showcasing your product to customers.
 

  • SKU (Stock Keeping Unit): A unique identifier for inventory tracking.
  • Weight, Length, Width, Height: Once your product is packed, you need to update its weight (in KG), length, width, and height (in CM). This information is required for your shipping aggregator and will not be visible to customers.
  • Price: The cost of the product can be determined by two options: Price based on quantity and Fixed price.
    Fixed Price: For B2C transactions, use Fixed price. In the Original price, update the MRP, and in the Selling price, specify the price at which you want to sell the product.

  • Price based on Quantity : Price based on Quantity is suitable for B2B transactions or bulk purchases.
     

  • Inventory :  Set the initial quantity of the product in your inventory. You have the option to allow customers to purchase this product when it's out of stock. Additionally, you can configure a low stock notification and restrict the quantity per user, including all orders.

  • Product Variants (if applicable): If your product comes in different variations (e.g., sizes, colours), specify these variants along with their respective prices and quantities. You can add up to 3 variants option names and unlimited option values). Additionally, you have the flexibility to change the price and update the inventory based on your selected variants.

  • SEO (Search Engine Optimization) for individual products involves optimizing the content and structure of the website to improve visibility and ranking on search engine results pages. Effective SEO strategies can attract more organic traffic and potential customers, leading to increased sales and revenue.

  • Create a Custom URL: You have the option to create a custom URL based on the product name.
