How to add Packing Material?

  • This Article is for stores running on Solo plan or higher

To add packing material on the Commerce backend, follow the steps below:

Step 1: Log in to your Commmerce’s Admin Panel by entering the Registered mail ID and Password. To log in, click here
 

Step 2: After logging in, navigate to the Settings menu and select the Packing Material option.
 

Step 3: On the Packing Material page, click the 'Add Packing Material' button located at the top right corner.
 

Step 4: Enter the name of the packing material (e.g., Box, Envelope) (as shown in “1”).

Next, specify the length, width, and height; these fields define the size of the material after packing (as shown in “2”).

Choose the unit of measurement (e.g., CM) for the dimensions (as shown in “3”).

Select the status of the packing material, Active or Inactive, to indicate whether it is available for use (as shown in “4”).

Once all the details are updated, click the Save button (as shown in “5”).
