Step 1. After successfully logging in to the POS system, navigate to the left-hand menu and click Categories to access the product category management section (as shown in "1").
Step 2. To create a new category, click Add Category located on the category management screen (as shown in "2"). This opens the category creation form, where you can enter the required category details.
Step 3. Enter the required category information:
Category Name – Enter a clear and descriptive name to identify the category and organize related products (as shown in "3").
Category Level – Select the appropriate category level to define the category hierarchy within the product catalog (as shown in "4").
Ensure the category details are accurate and aligned with your product structure before proceeding.
Step 4. Map products to the category by using the search bar to find and select the required products (as shown in "5"). This helps organize products under the appropriate category for easier management and navigation.
Step 5. Review the category details and product mappings to ensure they are accurate. Click Save to create the category and apply the selected product associations (as shown in "6").
Note:
Nested categories can be created by dragging and dropping a category under a parent category. This allows you to build a hierarchical category structure for better product organization and navigation.
