Yes, Commmerce offers a flexible checkout process to enhance the shopping experience.
Account Optional:
You have the option to proceed with a
guest checkout, making account creation completely optional. For a quick and seamless experience, simply provide the essential details, such as your shipping information. Enjoy a hassle-free checkout process tailored to your convenience!
OTP for Verification:
For enhanced security, you may be prompted to enter a One-Time Password (OTP) during the checkout process. We value your convenience, so please note that providing an OTP is optional, allowing you to choose the level of security that suits you best.
Account Creation:
Creating an account is completely optional. If you choose not to register, you can effortlessly complete your purchase without any hassle, ensuring a smooth and convenient shopping experience.
Mandatory Fields:
To ensure a seamless checkout experience, we only ask for essential information. You have the flexibility to select which fields are mandatory, allowing you to customize the process to suit your preferences and make it as efficient as possible.
Follow the below steps to set up and enable all of the above mentioned features:
Step 1. Log in to your Commmerce’s Admin Panel by entering the
Registered mail ID and
Password. To log in
click here
Step2. Click on the Settings option in the Commerce Dashboard (as shown below).
Step 3. Click on the Configuration option (as shown below).
Step 4. Scroll down slightly to find the
Guest Checkout option (as shown in “1”).
The Account / Guest Checkout can be customized to meet your specific needs.
You can provide the following options:
- Either an Email or a Phone Number is required.
- Both an Email ID and a Phone Number can be made mandatory (as shown in “2”).
- The requirement for an OTP can be set as optional or mandatory (as shown in “3”).
- For User Accounts, creating an account is mandatory. Customers must register before proceeding to checkout and can log in using either an OTP or a password (as shown in “4”).
Step 5. Account Options (as shown in “5”): This feature allows customers to decide whether to create an account or to complete their checkout as a guest.
Account Will Not Be Provided (as shown in “6”): In this scenario, customers will not have the option to create an account and can only proceed with the checkout as guests.
Other Fields (as shown in “7”): You can customize which fields are mandatory and which are optional, tailoring the checkout process to your specific requirements.
Step 6. Click the Save button at the top right to save your changes on the website (as shown below).
