You can upload category images of any dimension. If the image does not align properly or does not appear as expected, Commmerce offers an
'Image Fit & Size' option in the website builder to adjust how the image is displayed.
The available fit options include:
The image stretches to completely fill the container, even if it means distorting the image’s original aspect ratio.
Best for exact-size layouts where distortion is acceptable.
The entire image fits inside the container
without distortion, maintaining its aspect ratio.
Best when you want to show the full image without cropping.
The image fills the container
completely, possibly cropping the edges, while preserving aspect ratio.
Ideal for banners or thumbnails where edge cropping is acceptable for a full background effect.
Note:- Ensure that all images are under 2MB in size.
