What is a Favicon, and how do I set it for my website?

A favicon is a small, often square-shaped icon that represents a website. It appears in various places, such as the browser tab, bookmarks, and sometimes in the address bar when someone visits your website. The term 'favicon' stands for 'favorite icon', as it was initially used to mark websites as favorites or bookmarks.

How do I upload the favicon to my commmerce website?
Step 1. Log in to your Commmerce’s Admin Panel by entering the
Registered mail ID and
Password. To log in

Step 2. Click on the Settings option in the Commmerce Dashboard on the left side (as shown below).
Step 3. Once you click on Settings, you will find the Configuration option. Click on that (as shown below).
Step 4. Click on the Favicon option. Choose the File button in the Branding section to open the image folder on your system. From there, select your favicon and upload it (as shown in "1").
Then, click the Save button in the top right corner to update the favicon (as shown in "2").
