What is the difference between the SAC code and the HSN code?

The SAC (Services Accounting Code) and HSN (Harmonized System of Nomenclature) code are both used in the GST system for classification, but they apply to different categories:
HSN Code is used for goods. It is an internationally recognized system for classifying products.
SAC Code is used for services. It is a unique system developed by the GST Council to classify services in India.
