The ideal balance between quantity and size of images for effective product presentation is to provide enough visuals to build trust and drive conversions, while keeping the page load fast and responsive.

1. Image Quantity: 
 
  • 3–5 images per product is optimal:
  • 1 main image
  • 1–2 alternate angles or close-ups
  • 1 lifestyle/context image
  • Optional: size chart, texture, packaging
2. Image Size:
 
  • File size: Aim for 100–300KB per image
  • Dimensions:
