What types of offer codes can I create on my Commmerce store?

The Commmerce platform supports four distinct types of promotional offers, each designed to serve different business needs:
 

Flat

Type 1: Flat Discount

Applies a fixed discount to the total order value, specific categories or products, product groups, or customer groups.

Example: ₹50 is deducted directly from the total bill.
 

Percentage

Type 2: Percentage Discount

Applies a percentage-based discount on the order or product value.

Example: 10% off, where the discount amount depends on the order total.
 

Shipping Discount

Type 3: Shipping Discount

Reduces the shipping cost by a specific amount. This can be applied in different ways:
 
  • All: Applies to all orders.
  • Below: Applies to orders priced or quantified below a certain threshold.
  • Above: Applies to orders priced or quantified above a certain threshold.
  • Equals: Applies to orders that match a specific price or quantity.

Free Shipping

Type 4. Free Shipping: Shipping costs are entirely free for the customer.
 
  • All: The offer applies to all orders without restrictions.
  • Below: The offer applies to orders where the specified price or quantity is less than a certain value.

Note: These offers can be customized based on order value, specific categories or products, product groups, and customer groups.
